AKA the final evac fleet sequel.
In a humiliating defeat despite light allied protection from kig-yar and Aquamarinear forces, Gaeto has been conquered by the chat remnant by use of cowardly tactics. All who can and did not wish to be ruled by the chat fled to various places in space. All but one splinter group fleet. Fort Last Hope. Deciding ah what the heck its this or a hundred year war to reclaim Gaeto they launched "Operation Taste Of Their Own Medicine." Apon final operation the fleet has set off to Planet Ghost Town where for over a decade teams have been making final clean up of the water and air and building settlements away from any remaining native cities to avoid unauthorized handling of the artifacts.
Preserving history and finding out, as well as fixing the planet to support larger amounts of life, it is time to find out the lost secrets. Who where these people? what did they look like? What was it to led up to their final moments where they slipped forever into extinction from their own population and pollution? How did they live in their days? How close did they come to finding a solution to the end of their world? What could they have done differently?
This transmittion is interrupted, we apologies, but we must warn you that a large number of chat warfleets are on their way to destroy the colonists before they can dig in and establish proper colonization. Wishing to expand and reclaim their lost power, the chat also wish to colonize this planet.
Mission: Defend the frontier. Try to avoid ruins and artifacts being lost in the cross fire of the battle competing for colonization of the planet. While trying to preserve history try to also keep the envirment from being damaged, if the envirment takes to much damage the planet won't be inhabitable for sentient life, or at least be knocked to a lower planet echelon status. Defend friendly fleets that try to come in, fend off foely fleets that try to come in. Defend forts. Defend living presence military and civilian. Also the native people may have had primitive technology, but if by some rare chance artifacts are found that can make effective weapons, use of them is expectable if needed to survive.
Also you may think defending artifacts may not be important now, but I assure you, it has a chance of raising money to afford better defenses and offenses. If not to preserve history, at least for money to fund war.
