The M739.
The M739 Crowd Control Weapon is an assault carbine favored by Fox McCloud. It is one of the few weapons used by him that uses ballistic projectiles.
History[]
The M739 was used heavily during the Aparoid Invasion, notably on/in Katina, Sauria, Cornerian Capital, Aparoid Home world, and the Sargasso Space Zone.
The weapon saw limited use during Galactic Chat War; rare ammo types made it difficult to operate. The weapon was modified to use Sarcastic Rounds and Reply Rounds a few months after the Battle of Havin IV.
Eventually, its type was changed from the M739 Crowd Control Weapon to the 1337 Crowd Control Weapon.
It was employed on Yoth for security because typical plasma's effects were dulled by the extreme cold. It would see extensive use during the Fall of Yoth.

- Absolutely ineffective against heavy armor and especially heavy shielding
- Any heavy-class enemy can easily overpower an operater stuck with only a M739
