    DKI Ch1

You guys pick up a strange comms signal but it is undecipherable.

Its origin is unknown and it's not from the Chat Empire but you guys begin to investigate where it's coming from.

    • (All of my guys are at the asteriod.  I have a rather small number of rp characters but I suppose I could make a few up for this rp.  I could even give them some development and integrate them into the rest of my team.

All these guys are members of the resistance.  I will shortly add them to the list of minor characters.)

      Jasmin Rose (Female): Leader

      FearHawk (Male): Heavy machine gunner/flamethrower.

      Wade (Male):  Medic

      Charismar (Female): Diplomat turned assassin

      Commadore Shane (Male): Sniper

      Welsh (Female): Spotter

      Steven Walkin (Male): Tech expert

The indecipherable comms signal continues but it looks like you guys might not be the only ones curious about it. The Chat seems to be very interested in this 'anomaly' and have sent a medium fleet commanded by Admiral Jean Luc de Baron. In a fleet of your usual Chat starships, in the center is a new starship that looks menacing. You might want to scan it.

Your destination draws close. It looks like a Research Station built on a small asteroid. It seems abandoned and hasn't been touched in about 100 human-earth years.

Get ready for the Battle for Installation DKI-7A53R A7P1-1A!

Hurricane: "Damn! this is our first ever potential naval war with a race already use to interstellar travel, I don't think we are ready, non the less, I have no doubt we stand less chance if we run. Prepare for battle! Lets hope they don't know we don't breath air."

    • The approaching forces then run in opposite direction as if to go off to sides to let something pass. You realize that the fleet mothership has something up its starboard: A plasmatic-ion disruptor "Archon Disruptor". A such thing is impossible. It takes massive amounts of power to generate huge waves of EMP power... But it can't sustain itself if a wave were to be launched. Could they have discovered it from the mystery broadcast?

And it begins charging up intensely for attack. Admiral Jean Luc de Baron sits in the bridge, twiddling his fingers in impatience for destruction.

Admiral Jean Luc de Baron is amused that his little prep lightshow has scared these people. He opens a comms channel to communicate terms of surrender.

Admiral Baron is impressed that his first mission is going along well. He starts heading towards the Installation.

Installation DKI-7A53R A7P1-1A looks very important. Built on an asteroid with 27% cobaltite content, it's flourished into a research facility that's become larger than the asteroid. It does have turret defenses that look like thermally-high beam emitters with two variations but they seem to have been inactive for at least a century. Huh. Never seen them before. Are they defending the Installation?

No? Huh. Maybe they're here to fight for it. Again, it's ours. Fire.

When the Pelicans arrive the slipspace prob is put on the installation and it is turned on.  It will relay its position and real-time images around it to the Spirt of Honor.  (My characters are good people but they aren't stupid.)

The other pelicans pick up the cobalt ores, laser saws and ground forces.  They put the Sirens on the Eye of the Gods and they put the republic troops on the Spirt of Honor.

(Stars, you should really have your ship, eye of the gods, have the inside filled with water instead of air.  That way your guys can take off their suits when they arrive.)

Our ships armor is made of *invalid translation, reapplying best results* Epithelium métallon.

Our weapons may not be as advanced but the movements one makes in space is not unlike that you experience in water. We have good tactics.

I am pretty tough honestly, in one war a enemy sub destroyed the sub I was in, the survivors fled in fear but I was so angry I destroyed the sub single handedly with swimming combat weapons.

We are use to the idea of fighting off a hull breach when in a depth level lower then our bodies can survive.

Your scanners pick up a faint energy source within.

(Sounds good.  Mmkay.  Here goes my pathetic attempt to sound epic in an unfamiliar place. And holy fudge do you guys move fastly in RP's.  One day.  ONE FREAKING DAY, and we have this many comments.) ;)

A slipspace rupture tears a hole in space, and a behemoth of a vessel slowly comes out.  The red lights on its wing tips flicker, and the main engine silently roars in the dead of space.

"Steady ROB!  Seven, get down to the docking bays! Four, stay here!"

A crowd of droids and a couple of co-pilots simultaneously respond with a sharp "Yes Sir!"

"Attention!  All security crews standby for potential trouble.  Gamma squad rendezvous with Delta squad at docking bay 42.  Zulu squad and Charlie hold at docking bay 3, and man the security turrets."

A Stargate is a station that houses artificially-created wormholes. There are three types: The Sender (generates the wormhole at itself and at the Receiving end), The Receiver (flags a location that a wormhole can be created at this location), and The I/O Communicator (can send communication signals through both points). Their wormholes are unpassable by the majority of starships because of the small size of the wormhole, restricted by the frame size. The wormholes generated are deemed unstable and require proprietary DKI Technologies to pass. While you people of this universe may have similar Technologies, Drullkus Industries' technology has achieved inter-universal Stargates.

      Aetherfield Shield Module
You will not be paid for assisting with the construction. You will instead be rewarded with technological access to Aetherfield Generators including their inner workings. Being generators with fuel cells that are forged in stars, their heat-resistant properties will block all laser/beam types. They struggle with regular projectiles, though. In addition, they offer some stability when Starships pass through Stargates.

A pack of Space Raptors the size of your average-sized destroyer starts heading towards the Stargate Construction. They don't seem to be very... tolerant... Of the construction.

How did you find our obscure wiki?  And Nikoli, while I agree that militarized life forms that can survive in space do not exist here, I will accept Space Raptors as being in the same genetic family as Raptors quite superior dinosaur race. In that case, a battlegroup of destroyers could be quite a challenge.)

"Battle stations! ROB, take the helm. Bravo and Zulu squadron, ready all fighters to defend this station. XD-7 and XD-2, you are up for a little flying today. If I get the chance, I will be assisting in repelling all possible pirates."

Fox presses a button on his bridge command console.

"Attention! All infantry squads from A-L head to Dock 3 to stop potential invaders. All infantry squads from M-Z ready EVA equipment and prepare to stop hull-clingers."

Docking Bay 3 was getting quite the workout. Squads of human, reptilian , droid and android pilots were hastily being rushed to their rather makeshift fighters. The ships defenses were well worn, and badly in need of repair without hardly any of the projectile ammunition they consumed. While most fighters still had premium shielding, and were semi-advanced, they wouldn't be a chance against some of the Chats or Mandalorians best starfighters. An elevator brought down a special starfighter from storage; while remaining sleek, the Arwing II was battle scuffed and not particularly glorious. Once it reached the bottom level, crews immediately began working on getting the proper amount of fuel cells in her engine, just like every other fighter being prepped.  The total operation goes on for at least another 5 minutes, nearly a new record for the prep teams.  In all, about 50 advanced fighters were made ready to defend the station and their own ship from the invaders.

"Alright.  I am heading down to the dock.  The pirates seem cautious of our ship, and I think they should be. Standby for departure."

(This wiki is obscure indeed. Lord STARS invited me from the VEGA Conflict Wikia. I'm not into Halo at all. In fact, I don't even have any of the Xbox to begin with.)

The Stargate Construction continues, and eventually the construction planner reports 50% completion on the Stargate. The frame is done! Now begins inlaying the Stargate with cobalt-based alloys as well as the interuniversal 'flag' to alert all DKI Stargates out there that is brand-new stargate in this very new universe!

More pirate ships jump out of Hyperdrive and their trajectory is set on the Stargate! They're looking pretty vicious. Watch out for their rocket torpedoes and their burst-missles.

Sub = Down, Sup = Up. Thought this would be interesting information. Technically all starships are Supmarines except they keep out the vacuum, not the water/air.)

A.I. "We have 400 missiles ready to fire."

Captain Palkins "Fire them all!  By then our boarding parties should be ready to board the rest of them."

The A.I. puts a battlenet up on everyone elses screens.  It shows the ships that are closing and have guns fully charged that must be destroyed and it also shows ships just arriving that are far away that we still have time to board.  Unfortunately, this plan forces the boarding ships to run a gauntlet of AA fire and enemy fighters.

Bravo squadron one by one exits the bay, and then Zulu.  Finally, Fox gives another green light, and he receives one back.  The starfighter is hooked up to a special hyper-fast zipline, and it launches from the station.  As it exits, it is slowed by an invisible shield keeping the atmospheric pressure, and finally reaches it's destined course. "Bravo squadron, our ship can repel boarders for at least awhile.  Focus on that station.  Zulu squadron, form a staggered line and push towards the enemy vessels!" He opens another comms channel. "Fox to GFIII.  I need that boarding party ready ASAP.  Tell em' to go for the big shiny flagship vessel.  Oh, and Zulu squadron, cover that transport as best as you can when she's ready to depart!"

Two Super HACK rounds fire from the behemoths midsection, and rip the second destroyer apart.

"Attention all defenders!  The remaining destoryers and cruiser are pulling back to a minimal safe distance from our ships.  It's likely a lure; all capital vessels disengage from the trio and focus on the frigates.  Zulu squadron, you are with me!  Bomb the destroyers as best as you can while I take the Carrier!"

The battered Arwing II and it's complement of 20 advanced fighters form a staggered line, and race towards the trio of ships.  A horde of nearly 50 enemy fighters swarm towards the squadron, but are pathetically defeated without well equiped firepower nor shielding, with only a mere 3 losses.

The Carriers docking bay was put on high alert.  With the recent loss of their deflector shields, the bay was defenseless against keeping boarders from entering their bay.  To counter it, several squads of the best Space Raptors were stationed in the bay, with some of the best EVA gear. When the ship shuttered from repeated bombing runs, the teams remained perfectly still.  They just kept their turrets focused on the bays entrance, and waited.

The lone pilot carefully fired six very large bolts of plasma at the weak atmospheric shielding over the Carriers bay, before he was convinced that it was safe to enter.  He brought his fighter in at speeds far too fast for a landing bay, and hovered over the landing area.  That was when the teams took their chance.  Firing from several small arms and rockets alike, they were able to cripple a wing, and send the shaky vehicle down to the landing pad.  It hit the ground with a loud thud which tore off the wing completely; the infantry, who seemed quite satisfied, took a non-cautious approach to the smashed up fighter.  The ejection seat smashed the cockpit open, and a soldier landed in a distance; before they could react, the Arwing self destructed and sent most of the pirates to their demise.  The remaining 7 carefully hid behind the debries, and started to charge the lone pilot with fearsome bayonet rifles.  At almost lightning speeds, one after another was illusioned with false images and real ones of the pilot, which sent another 3 down.  Furious, the remaining 4 readied their rifles and fired on the pilot.  At the last millisecond, he activated his reflector, and 3 more dropped.  The last squad member, the commander, went to reach for his sidearm that had fell a half meter away when his hand was stepped on.  The pilot pulled out a pistol and shot him in the face.

Yeah... sorry internet kicked out and I had to publish half finished reply.

Drullkus' intro into our universe; he made a portal from different dimensions in the dead of space, and has contacted us to help defend it.  He will apparently give us valuable starship cores in exchange for our cooperation.  Now, space Raptor pirates are attempting to sabotage and even enter this portal, so we are repelling them.

(No he ment he got confused over who is the pilot and who is the bad guys in you comment.  Basically fox just crash landed, laid a hollogram and went into bad ass mode.  The hangar is clear.

A dropship follows fox though his path of destruction and lands plentry of the new republic's best.  The sentinels

They are know as fireteam WisdomTorch and they each have their speciality but right now all you need to know is that they are the best of the best.  They are here to learn a thing or two about boarding ships from the expert.  Fox.

    • I join the fight with  five elites behind me. One is Yulock (the others are two minors plus one major). We all charge and open fire gunning down multiple enemies. I gun down three enemies personally then throw a plasma grenade directly on a space raptor who explodes killing two others.

Then Yulock with his showy personality yell "Watch me boys. I will show you how its done!" Yulock charges and guns down two enemies then when the raptors return fire he slides on the floor and guns down three more. Yulock charges and then slashes two raptors with his enegry sword then the last one fires at him. Yulock dashes from side to side then stabs the raptor in the stomach.

Then two raptors enter (one with a councussion rifle and another with a focus rifle). I yell "Take cover!" The raptor with the focus rifle fires at Yulock who dives behind cover just in time. Then the raptor with the councussion rifle fires at all of us. I yell "Scatter!" A elite minor is gunned down after being shot thrice by a councussion rifle. Then I throw a plasma grenade on that raptor then he explodes. The last raptor keeps firing his focus rifle and he evade the shots. Then Yulock charges at him dodging his laser and then kicks the raptor. Then he finishes it with his energy sword.

    • (Ok.)

Steven Walkin takes out a self made emp device and plugs it into one of the terminals to operate an elevator.  It begins to scrabble the entire systems electrical systems by changing AC current into DC current.  The ship soon shuts down everything except life support.

      Jasmin (Leader) "Good job."

Steven (Tech Expert) "Thanks.  I take pride in my work."

Red Baron (Pilot) takes the horse they flew in on and destroys the raptor pirates in the hangar.

Red Baron "Hangar has been pacified."

    • "Copy that.  We have no time to lose.  I suggest that we either go for the bridge, or fusion core.  If this ship makes any sense, the core will be in the heart of the ship.  Right now I am trying to tap into their security mainframe to determine the location of their core."

Fox tapped couple buttons.  After a good 15 seconds of waiting, another shuttle landed in the large bay. After the ship landed, out came Zulu Corporal DX-4, and his escort of Droid Marines.  He looks to Jasmin and BH, and tells them that the location of the bridge is near the rear of the ships topside.

"Once again, your call. We shouldn't wait here any longer; in about 90 seconds, they will be all over us. And reflector only has about one good more use before its battery is fried."

    • Jasmin (Leader) "We can handle ourselves.  We can head for the power core if you think splitting up is the best strategy.  We will make sure that they don't scuttle the ship using the core.  Is their anything else you want us to take out along they way?"

WisdomTorch (Heavy weapons) goes down a atruim and clears it of hostiles.  Red Baron goes back into space to ferry troops back and forth from the Spirit of Honor to the enemy hangar.

An atrium is cleared by FearHawk and he tells Jasmin it is time to go.  Jasmin gestures towards her communicator and tells fox

      "We will keep in touch."

She heads down the hallway to catch up with her team.

    • You only missed about 40 comments.  Here is the summary.  We have landed in the carrier flagship and are splitting up.  There is only 3 destroyers and cruisers but they have retreated and are out of range.  The frigates however are just barely being held back by the Spirit of Honor, the GFlll, the Eye of gods, the memento mortis,  the mortis venit, the cedo ut mortis, and whatever UFM and Drullkus have.  I will just start calling this Battlegroup Brave New World.)

The eye of the gods fires 2 torpedoes and hits 2 of the frigates damaging them while 2 crews missiles hit with emp, then 2 more torpedoes put electric net on them, this only intended to buy them time so they are free to cruise up to a 3rd frigate. The eye of the gods fires sharp harpoons into the frigates side, reeling it in, they line their ship up to it.

    • "Alright then.  I will go for the bridge with my troops.  While you are at it, I would appreciate it if you could kill the engines, so this thing can't get away.  You can unplug the core, but that would cut all power to the ship, and I prefer keeping the gravity systems on.  To be safe, I suggest taking out the engine rooms cooling systems.  Three commando squads is quite enough for keeping the pressure on.  I am directing all of my future transports to the destroyers.  Perhaps, we might be able to keep one or two of these, and hand them over to the Separatists. Fox, over and out."

Fox pulled out his blaster, changed the battery pack to a fresh one, and signaled his soldiers into the hallway.  An unarmed crewman was wandering through the hallways until a powerful bolt of plasma hit him in the face.  Two more ran to his side, and pulled out sidearms.  The advancing droids made quick work of the men, and stealthly proceeded to the next room, which happened to be another hanger.  Unlike the previous one, this one was quite smaller, and had three service floors around the hanger, likely meaning it was a place for starfighter repair.  The squad entered on the third floor.

"Corporal, we aren't getting anywhere this way.  Is there any hope for a nearby turbolift?"

"Possibly sir... Give me a minute."

    • The ship the eye of the gods was boarding gets impatient that their attackers still haven't decided their plans to attack and force open the doors of the ship, unknowing its full of water. A tidal waver pours into their ship washing many of them, away, and taking in many sirens who where not ready for the sudden flooding of the enemy ship.

      (I freaking love LEET 1337.)

The Space Raptor Pirate forces are really being decimated to the point where the Leader is starting to be a little fearful.

The Invasion ringleader hails all allies and opponents and proclaims...

Leader Cacas Toros: This attack is now unprofitable! Retreeeeaaaaat!

The Space Raptors turn away and scatter in different directions.

While the battle went, the Stargate was charging up. The stargate sparkles and crackles. Suddenly with a loud bang, the stargate creates a vacuum. The artificial mini-blackhole quickly finishes calibrating itself in seconds and a bright purple wormhole appears. Hurrah!

The Stargate creates a large hologram from the wormhole of an arrow indicating that there is a fleet of starships coming through. The Spitfire materializes through the wormhole and screeches as its Thaumostatic Brakes grip onto the magic mesh harmlessly into a stop in front of the 'Battleforce Brave New World'.

Drullkus: Heyoo everyone! Another giant leap for Drullkus Industries Interuniversal! Thanks for clearing those pesky pirates. Anyone up for some technology?!

The Drullkus Industries Freighters materialize through the wormhole with various goods. One of them goes towards Drullkus.

Drullkus: Here is a shipment of your Aetherfield Shields. They're all yours. They come with a documentation detailing the technology. They're top-grade and cheap to power. I wouldn't recommend getting involved in a spatial-naval battle with an enemy that's using ballistic projectiles, though. You don't want to see what Railguns do to the shields...

    • Commodore Hurricane noticed something when Spitfire braked. The braking created some sort of a purplish skid that only he could see. It appears only sirens have this ability to see this skid. Drullkus doesn't know this but he is inventor of the experimental Thaumostatic Brakes and he should know about it.

    • (in the halo universe its the opposite, bullets don't damage shields very well but plasma dose, wait until one of my Kig-yar characters or u.n.f.m. or one of his characters gets ahold of it, we will use a covenant tec shield for ballistics then switch to that one for energy weapons.)

      He looks over at DX-4.

"We have no time to lose.  BH and Jasmin, kill her engines NOW!  Corporal, have you found a turbolift yet?"

"Yes sir!  First floor of this very hanger has a hallway that leads to a primary turbolift.  From there, we have a straight shot at the bridge."

"Then lets not make a day of it."

The squad climbs down a bunch of stairs, until they at last get to the bottom.  Three Raptors pull out energy swords and taunt them.  Fox pulls out his pistol and fires, to no avail.  The Raptors charge towards the squad; Fox sidesteps and kicks one in the face, DX-4 pulls out its knife and jumps over one, and the third slashes through two DX droids before being shot to death.  The one who had received a kick gets back up and pulls out two rifles, but before he could fire, the Corporal threw a knife in his back.  The last one takes a couple steps back behind a cargo container, when a DX droid threw a grenade behind the cover.  With his cover compromised, the Raptor came out with his energy sword ready to kill. He took a lunge at another DX droid, and shredded it, before the rest of the squad unleashed a barrage on the lone survivor.
